The Music
At Allin Church

About our Music
At Allin Congregational Church, music occupies a central place in worship and parish life. The core of the music ministry is our 16-voice choir, which rehearses weekly and contributes multiple musical selections to worship each Sunday. The choir is open to all interested singers regardless of prior background. Music in worship is further expanded by our cherub choir, organized around our youngest singers, and our young artist-in-residence program, which has so far welcomed seven high school and college students as they explore musical leadership roles in our church. On select Sundays, one can also hear singers and instrumentalists delivering stirring solos, either in a Sunday service or during one of our many concerts.
About our Director
The music ministry is headed by keyboardist, conductor and composer Andrew Jonathan Welch, who over nearly twenty years has refined his service playing and choir leadership, creating a ministry that strives to balance making excellent music with welcoming everyone's gifts. Andrew is additionally the Artistic Director of the Falmouth Chorale and of the Epiphany Festival, and teaches at the New England Conservatory and Brown University. Anyone interested in learning more about our choir or music ministry is encouraged to reach out to Andrew.
