Sunday, February 5th
– FUNDRAISER: We sell sandwiches at the Annual Meeting after service. Plan to meet in the kitchen to begin preparation at the end of the Children’s Message. Please bring your pledge packets for fundraising. Sandwich sales will be divided up between all who participate in this fundraiser!
Saturday, February 11th
– MOVIE NIGHT featuring Hotel Rwanda (run time 121 mins): Meet at Allin Church at 6 pm. Wear your pajamas and bring a donation so we can order pizza.
Saturday –& Sunday, February 25 -26th
- 30 HOUR FAMINE WEEKEND: Begin your fast on our own at noon on Saturday and plan to meet at Allin Church at 6 pm for our 24 hour lock-in together. Please bring an overnight bag, sleeping bag and juice or water to share. We will spend the time together, learning about the causes of poverty and how we can make a difference as well as experience hunger ourselves.
On Sunday, participants will present their experience during the Children’s' Message. We will break our fast together at 6 pm. Your families are invited to join you for the dinner.
